Finn Juhl

FJ-51 'Delegate' Armchair, 1951

Designed in 1951 by Finn Juhl for the interior of the UN Headquarter Trusteeship Council Chamber in New York. A small quantity of the design were produced by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder. This example is made from highly figured Brazilian rosewood with original patinated black leather seat. 

This model was mass-produced for the US market by Baker Furniture in beech and walnut.
