Finn Juhl

NV-53 Lounge Chairs, 1953

One of Finn Juhl’s most rare and sought after designs. The NV-53 was produced by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, Juhl’s collaborator throughout his most productive period from the mid-1940s to mid-1950s. The iconic sculpted, floating arm rests sit on patinated brass stretchers. The seats and back have been reupholstered in two-tone wool fabric. Both chairs are branded under the seat.
