






Philip Arctander
The Clam Chair, 1944
Designed in 1944 by Danish architect Philip Arctander the "Muslingestolen" or Clam chair was first produced by Nordisk Staal & Mobel Central, Denmark. This version was produced under license by Vik & Blindheim, Norway, c1950s and is slightly larger than the Danish productions. Beech legs and arms with seat reupholstered in New Zealand off-white sheepskin.
