Hans Wegner
The model 305 desk, designed in 1953 by Hans Wegner, was originally produced master-cabinetmaker Andreas Tuck at his factory near Odense, Denmark. Tuck worked closely with fellow Odense producers Carl Hansen & Son until the early 1970s when their factory was forced to close. They were responsible for producing some of Wegner’s finest tables during the golden era of the 1950s. After the factory closed the rights to the Model 305 were passed to Ejnar Pedersen's workshop: PP Mobler where it reamins in production to this day.
The entire desk including the top is made from from solid Danish oak. It features one lockable drawer and wonderful carved, round drawer pulls. This example was made in the 1970s.
